Why
does All Pest Solutions go to the effort to describe their
treatment so thoroughly to you? It’s
simple! We live and work in the same communities. When we service your home in Wylie, Sachse, or Murphy, we know we are going to see you again. We care and we know your
paying for this service and we have found that our customers want to know. That
way you have an expectation of which we always strive to exceed.
An average initial service with us takes approximately one
hour and a reoccurring service takes app twenty to thirty five minute (based on
a 2,000 sq ft residence, being serviced quarterly times may vary with a
different service frequency)
Why
do we give you a timetable? Again,
because we care and our experience has told is our customers associate what we
do and how long we spend directly with its value!
Don’t take this lightly. We
know the industry average time spent at a residence is half what we spend. Not
to mention there’s no way you could all the things we do in half the time.
When I say “value,
integrity and trust” is not just our motto it’s our mission. Well
darn it we mean it we want you to know what were doing for you and that way your
not kept in the dark.
ADDITIONAL
SERVICES
All
Pest Solutions advertises “no hidden charges” and with that we,
at every written estimate leave you a copy of our additional services so you
know what is not covered and what it would cost to provide these to you now or
in the future if the need arises, they are as follows.
Copper-meshing of
Weep Holes
Every new home built with brick
or stone has weep holes. These are
put in to allow ventilation into the walls, which is a good thing, but they are
a easy access for all types of bugs, especially spiders. All Pest
will take a copper mesh material and stuff in these holes which stops bugs from
entering while allowing air movement to continue and the holes to work as they
were designed. This is a one time charge and will last virtually forever. It is
something that we highly recommend and is well worth the one time small
investment.
Additional
Boxes
Sometimes additional rodent
feeding stations, live traps called catchall or insect/mice monitors (a box the
same size as a glue board that the glue board actually goes in so you can put them
in places where coming in contact with a glue board could occur, i.e. pets and
children) are needed we will price any and/or all of them for you.
Live Trapping
Sometimes the need to set a live
trap for squirrels, raccoons etc are needed. This service would have a cost to
set the trap and a cost for every animal removed.
Caulking
Sometimes All Pest
will point out areas that need caulking that help in stopping entry of lots of
things, not to mention the effect it has many times on your energy costs.
Rodent
Exclusion
This is one of our most popular
items. Most all rodents enter a home at the garage door while it is down, while
you’re asleep, in the middle of the night. If you will notice your own door,
while it is down those gaps beside the door. This is where they get in at. See
rodents follow structure lines and when they do and this hole exists there
literally channeled right into your garage and the rest is history. They will
either nest up in the garage and sooner or later catch the door to the house
open and in they go or worst yet they will chew a hole in the wall usually in
the corner enter the wall and make access in to attic where electrical wires ly
just waiting to be chewed on. Did you know that if rodents have to keep their
teeth wore down and standard electrical wiring is the perfect size for them to
get their teeth around and hard enough to actually chip away at their teeth?
This truly a recipe for disaster! All
Pest takes sheet metal, caulk and some craftsmanship and we close up
those entry points. This is a one
time charge and is very effective. Note
sometimes the rubber seal at the bottom of the door also needs replacing this is
done if needed at the customer’s expense.
Flying insect
traps/attractants
All Pest
has various devices you may be in need of to control flies, mosquitoes, certain
wasps, etc. The most popular
is a residential vector light that looks like a big night light or a plug in
scent device that you can plug directly into a wall outlet that attracts
virtually any flying insects and they work great.
Snake
Repellent
Yes! Believe it or not with
their ever increasing desire to live next some pretty fountain or body of water
combined with excavation of grass land, snakes continue to be a threat to
homeowners, their children and their pets.
All
Pest sells a product called snake-a-way. It’s the only product licensed in the U.S. to repel snakes
and it does work. The U.S. government used it a lot in desert storm to keep
cobras out of the military tents out in the desert.
It is a combination of Sulphur and ground up moth balls, so yes it smells
like grandma’s closet the first 24 hours after you put it out but that is how
it works. A snake’s sense of
smell is his most keen sense and they will not cross it. It is applied by literally pouring it directly on the
ground continuously around the house or yard or both.
This item can be purchased directly by you at your local home improvement
store but because I can buy it in bulk and integrate it into your service
frequency you can pay us to put out cheaper than what it cost you just to buy it
Fire ant
coverage
Unlike most of our competitors,
we cover fire ant in your yard up to 5000 sq ft of your yard.
Many of our customers had acreage from a half acre up to thousands of
acres. Whatever your need is -- we
can handle it. See us directly for
details.
All Pest challenge
We at All Pest Solutions
challenge you to find another service provider that will include items like
rodent control, fire ants in the yard ,carpenter ants and German roaches all for
one low price. We challenge you to find a company that will warranty free extra
services for spiders. We challenge
you to find a company that will put in writing exactly what their minimum
service is going to be every time they come. We challenge you to find a company
will put in writing an estimated time spent at your home that comes close to
ours. We challenge you to find a company who will disclose in writing what is
and is not covered and give you pricing on the things that are not up front so
theirs no surprises. We challenge
you to find a company that will run an extra service if you need it within 48
hours of when you call for it. We challenge you to find a company that doesn’t
make you sign a contract, not to mention that will try hard to keep technician
change to a bare minimum because we know how you like to build
relationships, trust and train them
to know your individual needs. We challenge you to find a company who is doing
all these things, but still has time to bring in your paper lying in the
yard, put up trash cans after the trash man has run . Have time to talk to you if
you have a question. Who will take the time and move your children's toys if
their in our way rather than treating them. Who will notice if your pets are out
of water and refill their bowl if needed. Were not guaranteeing you these things
are performed every time at every house simply because there's to many variables
but I assure you it is as much a part of our service standard to look for these
things and perform them when they exist as is refreshing all the barriers. We
have done our home work you will be hard pressed to find anyone other than All
Pest Solutions who will do half of these things much less all of them. All Pest
Solutions the cure for the common pest control company.

Basic
termite information that every homeowner should know before buying.
Your homeowners insurance doesn’t cover termite treatments or
termite damage.
Termites do more damage annually than all natural disasters
combined in a given calendar year.
A termite colony can collectively consume the equivalent of a 2x4
8 ft long in a year.
Termites have been here since the dawn of time ,survived the ice
age and will be here when were all gone.
Termites are social insects similar to ants and bees. They live in
the ground in colonies that are basketball size. An average colony will have
500,000 members.
A termite colony has a 6 member caste consisting of a queen, king
worker soldier secondary reproductive and alates or swarmers.
A termite colony usually resides 2 to5 feet beneath the ground,
which is below the frost line and above the water table.
Studies have shown that a single colony will have a foraging area
of which they gather food from the size of an average golf fairway.
Within their foraging territory they may have thousands of food
sources that they gather from daily and their always looking for new ones.
An average acre of land in north Texas will be home for as many as 12
colonies
Although 12 colonies may exist in an acre they do not socialize
with anyone outside their own colony.
Only one member ot a termite colony (the worker) can actually do
damage .he is the only one that has the one celled organism (called a protozoan)
in his hind gut that breaks down the cellulose into a sugars of which they eat.
This same worker termite feeds all the other termites .
Termites swarm every year around April which is their way of
reproducing. Swarmers that make it outside shed their wings mate up burrow into
the ground and make new colonies.
Understanding these facts may
influence your decision in
purchasing a termite treatment. In
my professional opinion supported by the fact and research from entomologists
across the world I feel that you don’t ever really get rid of termites. Sure
you may stop their entry for a while or you may take out a colony by some means
but history has proven that another colony will take its place and living things
like termites will find a way to sustain life. I tell you this only because many
people believe or perceive that treatment = no more termites and I believe
nothing could be farther from the truth.
So
when choosing a termite treatment it only makes good since long term to choose a
plan that that can provide you on going protection and to buy it from a company
who you can trust to stay up on the latest methods and techniques and who will be
around to stand behind what they sell.
Does this mean
that all pest solutions wont do a spot treatment for you? Absolutely not , we will
sell whatever it is you want but we also want you to know exactly what it is
your buying and when you choose a
short term solution to age long problem you doing just that and that way your
not angry at us when they return. Can
I afford a termite treatment that protects my home for years? Well I guess it
depends who you buy it from. You can easily spend thousands upon thousands for
some termite treatments with annual renewals of 4 or5 hundred dollars and then
after5 years it all starts over again, it can be a costly futile process luckily
for you all pest solutions has answers. Below I will list and describe our
options
Spot
treatments
A
spot treatment is just that we
will treat where and only where the termites are active at the time they are
discovered. This is by far the most inexpensive choice, but it come with
virtually no warranty and more importantly no coverage on the rest of the
structure. Their are times when this type of treatment does make good
since, especially if done to buy you some time when you can put a plan in place
or if done in conjunction with a baiting/monitoring system.
Conventional/traditional
treatments
up until 10 years ago this was by far the most popular and other than a
spot treat was the only way to treat for termites and until chlordane was
outlawed in 1989 was pretty darned effective simply because chlordane has a
shelf life of infinity. Chlordane was outlawed though and all thru the nineties
chemical manufactures were trying to find its replacement and frankly they failed
miserably. This is what brought about the baiting system craze of which I will
explain in detail in a moment. The chemical manufactures within the last 4 years
finally got it right with the invention of stealthy termiticides like termidor
premise and phantom. Every termiticide made prior to these were repellents and
with EPA' restrictions simply wouldn’t hang around very long .but with this
new breed of termiticide that was undetectable by termites the tides have once
again have turned. Since it doesn’t have to repel and has to come in contact
with termites these new termiticides are working quite well. The only negative
now when considering a conventional treatment is all the drilling required and
the volume of material required to perform this task .although. This is not my
ultimate recommendation it is a treatment we are able to perform, if your house
qualifies and after we have walked your home room by room and talked about
exactly what it is were going to do where were going to cut and drill and if
your still interested well so will I be. This type of treatment comes with a
initial treatment cost followed by 4 annual renewals where we will inspect the
structure and if nothing active termites that is is found that’s all that will
occur. If termites are found on the inspection or by any other means during
your contract we will perform a spot treatment only in that active area and at the
end of 5 years we start over with a new treatment and 4 more years of renewals.
Baiting/interceptors/monitoring
system
The
whole baiting craze began in the mid 90's when Dr. Nan Yo Su a Entomologist from
University of Florida who was
working on a break thru in termite treating on a grant from Dow Agri-sciences
invented and brought to the industry for Dow, Sentricon. Dr. Nan Yo Su in the lab
and with his field studies proved some of the feeding and foraging research I
listed above .in the beginning of this baiting craze, Sentricon and Dow had a
jump on the competition as regard to this new approach to treating termites .
for the first time in the history of termite treating we no longer were trying
to repel but attract and feed. Does this philosophy of putting wood in the ground
around a structure really work . the answer is yes like anything else there's
positives and negatives to everything. The positives were this method was
virtually non toxic when compared to traditional methods and it provided long
term control without having to retreat the house on an ongoing basis. The
negative to this philosophy was you were at the termites mercy of when they
would find the wood which in many cases took as long as a year and this was the
first step . once activity was found the termites were then transferred to the
actual bait where feeding had to occur which in many cases took another year.
But the biggest negative to this method was the integrity of the companies and
more importantly the technicians who were managing and monitoring the system. If
managed properly this method would long term eventually work but short term
within the first 2 years results were all over the board that is if it was being
managed with integrity if not all bets were off .in my professional opinion
regardless of the type of system whether it be Sentricon, Firstline, Exterra, or
any other bait and switch method if not managed properly with the utmost
integrity your simply throwing you money away.
After reading
that your probably thinking I
thought he said this method is what All Pest recommends well not quite. This
philosophy of of putting monitors
in the yard to make contact with the neighboring termite colonies I do believe
in and they will find then in due time but the whole bait and switch thing I
don’t like.
All
pest solutions answer to termite treating is a combination of both philosophies
At all pest
solutions we combine the best of both worlds to bring you what we've proven to be
the best treatment available when considering all fronts ie up front costs
ongoing cost effectiveness toxicity manageability and overall success. Here's how
it works first All Pest will inspect your home to see if any condition visible
or know would keep us from attempting this. Second inspect the home and identify
all active areas. All pest would do
a spot treatment in any active areas with Termidor (one of the stealthy
termiticides which when put in direct contact with active termites has the
ability to destroy at least significantly deplete that individual colony that
is attacking your home ) by doing this we have gotten immediate control with a
limited amount of drilling trenching and termiticide. Now we would install a
monitoring device around the house so we can deal with any remaining termites
that might exist from the attacking colony (who will be looking for a new source
since they were just denied one) but more more importantly all the other
colonies that exist that we haven’t been able to affect. The difference for all
pest at this point is were going to treat every station as we install it with
one of the stealthy termiticides, which means every station day one are active .
remember termites cannot detect it so all station are active from day one and
when termites hit were affecting them immediately and since we got control in the
beginning if it takes a while so what .all pest will return quarterly inspect
replaces wood treat wood or simply monitor the progress while keeping an eye
outside for any new attracts on the home, its that simple. The greatest reward
other than the fact that termites aren’t attacking the home and are being
controlled from outside is the huge savings in costs. Conventional treatments are
expensive because of the labor involved in drilling and trenching and the large
volumes of chemicals. True baiting
systems are expensive because of the labor involved in managing it and the
purchasing of the actual formulated bait tubes that you actually feed the
termites once you get a hit. With our method you have none of these issues so the
cost is dramatically impacted while at the same time effectiveness and control
have increased it’s a win win combination. You will pay thousands initially up
front for a name brand baiting system and 400+ a year paid in one lump sum
annually for an ongoing renewal, not with All Pest Solutions you will pay hundreds
for our initial (if saving money is ok with you) but we manage our contracts
quarterly not annually so we break it up into 4 payments a year not one and we
will offer you general pest control on top of your quarterly termite monitoring
and with the discount in place for doing both services versus one you will be
getting pest and termite coverage for termite alone would cost you anywhere
else. So lets recap same retreat warranties the name brands better control at
half the price initially and easy quarterly terms that could include pest
control for the same as I would be paying annually for termite alone. Wow so what
are you waiting for pick up the phone and lets get started.
Pretreatments
This is a surface
treatment done to the soil in the preconstruction of a new home done prior to
the slab being poured .although I don’t believe in this type of treatment I
will do them if that is what you want . call me for details.
Borate
Treatments
First of borates
are a mineral mined like salt and when applied to wood become a property of the
wood ,wood of which termites wont eat. I highly recommend doing this treatment instead of a pretreatment for several reasons.
One its more effective and lasts 10
times longer. Second it cost less . third its much easier to coordinate and its
virtually non toxic to anything other insects.
Wdi
termite inspections
This is a report
required on virtually every Real Estate transaction which is an inspection of
the property and a report of my findings as it relates to wood destroying
insects.
EXCLUSIVE TERMITE PROTECTION PLAN
As you know our position on pest control is to include all your basic insects for one low price (with the exception of termites).
What if I told you that termite protection could be added to that list — would you be interested?
All Pest Solutions is now offering a Termite Protection Plan to our customers at a fraction of what normal termite treatments costs.
Here’s how it works: It’s really simple. It’s like having a termite insurance plan. Yes, that’s right. Just like your auto, home or life insurance. Why hasn’t someone offered this before? The risk is too great. With a one to one chance every home will come under attack from termites, insurance companies who specialize in risk ratios are not willing to take on this risk and if they did you couldn’t afford it!
Doesn’t it make sense that a pest control company should be the one to offer such protection. After all, we’re the ones who know what to look for and how to solve it.
So why haven’t more pest control companies offered such a plan? It’s simple. GREED. Most pest control companies are not willing to give up the “big ticket” termite job or take on the risk. Plus, until recently we have not had a product we could stand behind. But that has changed! Termidor, a revolutionary new termiticide has changed our industry. It is the first colony eliminating liquid termiticide ever of it’s kind, giving the pest control operators a weapon against termites for the first time in history. But even with seven years worth of Termidor field trials showing stellar results, the other companies are still not willing to give up that big ticket sale.
At All Pest we are willing to take that risk. We have been using Termidor for over five years and it has proven to me, what we are offering can be a win-win for both parties.
Here’s how it works. An inspection on your home will be completed. If your home has no signs of termites and no uncorrectable conducive conditions we will offer you our Termite Protection Plan. If there are conducive conditions that are correctable we will point them out and you will be required to correct them before qualifying. Obviously, some houses may not qualify, but you will not know until we inspect. At that time we will draw a diagram of your home and for $1.00 per linear foot annually (based on the footprint) we will warranty your home against termites. Our minimum, regardless of your linear footage, will be $150.00 per year. Realizing the average home is 200 linear feet making the average $200 per year for termite protection, which compared to an average termite job for this size house is $2,000 and $200 annually after that. What a difference! We believe it is good business to spend $200 to keep from spending $2,000. You can pay it out quarterly along with your pest control. So for about $50 additional quarterly added to your pest service, you could have termite protection.
Does this mean All Pest Solutions is going to perform a $2,000 termite job for $200? Absolutely not. This is fixing your cost and allowing you to manage it quarterly and annually so you do not ever have to come up with that large amount out of the blue.
All Pest Solutions will inspect your home for termites at every regular pest service and if termites are found at any time by either party a treatment will be performed at that time using Termidor to remedy that attack and your cost does not change. All Pest will perform whatever treatment necessary (at our discretion) to remedy the problem for the fee agreed upon. It’s that simple! It’s a fixed cost with as needed treatments and ongoing inspections. What a value!
We are not discouraging complete treatments. They have their pros and cons, but I am sure if you ask our current termite customers who treated with us curatively this protection plan is a great value and would love to have had this option.
Hurry and call for your inspection and qualification appointment today. We at All Pest Solutions hope this is just another way of exceeding our customer expectations when we say “experience the ultimate in Value, Integrity and Trust.” We mean it!
